The naming ceremony of Cosco Germany was held in the port of Hamburg on August 28th 2006. Nordcapital with its shipping company E.R. Schiffahrt celebrated the event with over 250 guests from all over the world. Claes Lindh and Rune Bågenholm represented The Swedish Club. The name was given by Amassadorial Counsellor Zhu Yiqing, wife of the Chinese Ambassador.
