The LSM Manning and Training Conference returned to India in 2006 after a break of five years.

This second LSM conference in India was held over three days in March 2006 at the Hilton Hotel in South Mumbai. The conference included a presentation showcase on “The Impact of Maritime Resource Management Training on Reducing Human Errors” in which four speakers presented a case study.

The speakers were Capt. Yashoverman Sharma of the International Maritime Training Centre, Capt. Kersi Deboo of the Anglo-Eastern Maritime Training Centre, Capt. H. Subramaniam of the Eurasia Centre of Advanced Learning, and Capt. S. Manjeshwar of the Wallem Maritime Training Centre.

A large audience learnt about MRM’s impact on reducing human errors.
