The Swedish Club event at the Trinity House in London was an event not to be forgotten. Not only did
Lars Rhodin, Managing Director, and his Management team present the Club’s latest positive results, we also took the chance to present the Club’s new London “Underwriter” Margareta Hammar.

This did cause many in the audience to raise their eyebrows in surprise and wonder until it became evident, during her extraordinary speech, that Margareta was, in fact, a Swedish comedienne and a part of the entertainment.

The Club’s message to the London audience is that it will continue to focus on controlled growth and strengthen its presence in London with John D. Owen, Senior Consultant, and Underwriting. As Lars Rhodin said: “The Swedish Club will probably be the only P&I Club operating in the European Union in the near future.”
