The Swedish Club is a leading marine mutual insurer, headquartered in Göteborg, Sweden, with overseas offices in Hong Kong, Piraeus, and Tokyo. The Swedish Club was established in 1872 and today employs over 100 staff members. The Swedish Club offer Hull & Machinery, P&I, FD&D, War risk and Loss of Hire insurance plus various ancillary covers. The Club is a member of the International Group of P&I Clubs.

Business Development Manager – Hong Kong
We are looking for an experienced, professional Business Development Manager whose key responsibilities will be promoting The Swedish Club in the Asian Marine Markets, developing new markets and introducing new members to the Club.

Experiences & Abilities
It is essential that you have excellent knowledge of marine insurance, particularly in the area P&I insurance as well as knowledge and a good network within the Asian marine insurance market.

If you have at least five years work experience gained within a Marine Underwriting role we would like to hear from you. The position will require a great deal of travel.

You should be ambitious, highly self motivated and proactive with excellent communication skills. Excellent English (both written and spoken) plus good Chinese dialects are also essential.
