Claims Support Officer – Team Gothenburg

Our operation is divided into four teams, located in Gothenburg, Piraeus, Hong Kong and Oslo. We are looking for a Claims Support Officer to our team in Gothenburg.

Work Description

The Claims Support Officer is a supporting role to our claims function. The job includes independent claims related work and tasks under the supervision of the Heads of Claim for P&I and Marine. The working tasks include:

• Registration of Marine and P&I claims
• Appointing representatives and surveyors
• Reviewing survey reports
• Assisting claims handlers drafting various reports
• Assisting members compiling claim documents
• Investigation and handling of Marine and P&I claims as delegated by Heads of Claims

Place of work

The place of work is our head office in Gothenburg. You belong to the team’s Claims group and you report to one of the Heads of Claim.

Qualifications

We welcome candidates with experience from marine/P&I insurance claims or similar. Post high school education is expected but an academic degree is not a requirement. You need to be in good command of MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Fluency in English, both oral and written, is required.
