Licensing Procedure

The Swedish Club Academy’s commitment to resource management includes ensuring the global shipping community has sufficient opportunities to attend an MRM training.

The Swedish Club Academy offers the MRM course at various places worldwide, often at licensed training providers. New applicants for a licence are evaluated, and if the requirements are met, a licence to conduct the course may be issued.

The requirements, similar to the classification societies’ rules for maritime training centres, have been drawn up to ensure high quality and a common standard of training regardless of where the training is being held.

All licensed training providers contribute to the further development of the course by sharing a wide variety of experiences and expertise.
